33rd ANNUAL FORT OMAHA INTERTRIBAL POWWOW

Saturday, September 21, 2024  -  1:00-7:30 p.m. CDT

Craft Vendor, Non-PROFIT Tables & Food Vendor Registration

 

Craft Vendors—Pre-registration prices:

  • $30 for each table

  • $50  for 10 x 10 canopy space
  • $80 Canopy space larger than 10 x 10 and up to 10 x 20
  • $100 Canopy space larger than 10 x 20
  • (OPE电子竞技官网 provides tables plus 2 chairs; OPE电子竞技官网 does not supply canopies.)

Applications completed after 8-16-24 will be charged an additional $10 per table or canopy space.
Pre-registration ends September 6, 2024. After September 6, 2024, vendors may walk in at the powwow beginning at 10:00 AM with cash payment only. Space will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The Fort Omaha Intertribal Powwow is not a juried art show. All products for sale must be Native-themed. Vendors may be asked to leave if their products do not reflect a Native American theme. No factory produced toy guns, toys or glow sticks.

Vendors are advised to honor  The Indian Arts and Crafts Act (IACA) of 1990 (P.L. 101-644) 

The Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 is a truth-in-advertising law that prohibits misrepresentation in the marketing of Indian art and craft products within the United States.  It is illegal to offer or display for sale, or sell, any art or craft product in a manner that falsely suggests it is Indian produced, an Indian product, or the product of a particular Indian or Indian tribe or Indian arts and crafts organization, resident within the United States.  For a first time violation of the IACA, an individual can face civil or criminal penalties up to a $250,000 fine or a 5-year prison term, or both.  If a business violates the IACA, it can face civil penalties or can be prosecuted and fined up to $1,000,000.

Non-profit informational tables

Those providing an informational table with absolutely no sales or acceptance of tips or donations may reserve one table at NO COST.  $30 will be charged for each additional table. Registration for Non-Profit tables ends Setpember 6th.

NO RAFFLES will be allowed for vendors or non-profit information tables.

Food Vendors

METROPOLITAN COMMUNITY COLLEGE provides:

  • Electricity at no charge/Fresh water supply/Assistance for set-up

  • Waste containers and garbage bags for disposal of trash in vendor's immediate area
  • Parking location for vendors (vendors may unload near their booths, but may not park by booths)

 

VENDORS:                                

  • Adhere to regulations of Douglas County Health Department, SUBMIT COPY OF YOUR Douglas County Health Department permit and send in required forms to Sarah Watson, sewatson@leela-thaimassage.com, 531-622-2662
  • Adhere to rules of Metropolitan Community College

Registration costs---All food vendor registrations and fees due by 8/23/2024.

  • $35 (one food item such as coffee, not a meal)
  • $50 for a 10 x 20-foot area
  • $125 for an area larger than 10 x 20
